في قاعدة ميغيل دي سرفانتس في مرجعيون جرت مراسم حفل تسليم الشهادات لأفراد الأمن العام اللبناني الذين شاركوا في دورة تدريبية مشتركة مع عناصر من قوات اليونيفيل.

وقد اجريت صفوف الدورة التدريبية خلال الأسابيع الأربعة الماضية ، وقد شملت تبادل المعلومات والتدريبات على حماية السلطات والشخصيات وإجراءات الشرطة والإجراءات القتالية في المناطق السكنية ، والإسعافات الأولية القتالية وكيفية تعطيل القنابل والمتفجرات.

وقد شارك في هذه الدورة التدريبية أكثر من 80 عنصرا" من الأمن العام اللبناني ، موزعين وفقا" لاحتياجات الوحدة ، وقد اظهروا استعدادا" واهتماما" كبيرا" عند تبادل التدريبات والإجراءات.

وترأس الحفل الختامي للدورة ، القائد العام للقطاع الشرقي في اليونيفيل وقائد الكتيبة الاسبانية الجنرال خوسيه لويس سانشيز مارتينيز فاليرو ، يرافقه العقيد فوزي شمعون ، مدير مكتب الشؤون العامة للأمن العام في النبطية.

في كلماته شدد الجنرال مارتينيزفاليرو على اهمية منهجية الشراكة في الدورات والتي تسهل التفاعل بين جميع المشاركين ، كما وأعرب فاليرو عن رغبته في مواصلة هذا النوع من التعاون بين المؤسستين.

بعد كلمة التقدير من العقيد شمعون على إجراء مثل هذه الدورات وبعد تقديم التهاني للمشاركين على جهودهم ومشاركتهم. تم اخذ الصورة التذكارية التقليدية مع جميع المشاركين.

Closing ceremony of training courses

At the Miguel de Cervantes Base in Marjayoun , the ceremony of awarding of diplomas to personnel of the General Security Directorate has taken place, which has participated in the joint training sessions with UNIFIL forces.

The sessions have been developing during the last four weeks and have consisted of exchange of information and procedures on protection of authorities and police procedures, procedures of urban combat inside populations, first aid in combat and practices of deactivation of explosives.

These days have been attended by more than 80 soldiers of General Security, distributed according to the needs of the Unit, showing great preparation and interest when sharing procedures.

The closing ceremony was presided over by the UNIFIL Sector East Commander and Head of the Spanish contingent, Brigadier General D. José Luis Sánchez Martínez-Falero, accompanied by Colonel FAWZI SHAMOUN, Director of the General Security Office of Information Affairs in Nabatiye

In his words, General Martínez-Falero highlighted the participatory methodology of the courses that has facilitated the interaction of all the participants and has expressed his desire to continue with this type of collaboration between the two institutions.
